SCULPTED BODIES
Sculpted Bodies
An exploration of light as a shaper, of the essence of forms,
of the element of mystery inherent in every body allowing itself to be permeated by shadow and light.
The feminine presence is like a pure form, endowed with breath, a soul, shaped by light and contrast. Expressive power of black and white, capable to reveal matter and erase all distractions.
Imposing silhouettes, sometimes facing forward, sometimes from behind, or in profile,
emerge from the light or dissolve into it, as if each body were reborn in the instant the shutter clicked.
The women reveal their nobility, at the border between real worlds and imaginary universes. Their hairstyles oscillate between ancestral traditions and futuristic visions,
evoking possible cosmologies, reinventing myths, and dreaming of origins.
Light is as much subject as it is substance.
Black and white bring us back to the origins of photography: writing with light, experiencing its excess, its fleeting nature, its tenacious presence: we merge with it, we lose ourselves in it, we are reborn in it. intense contrasts, sculpting shadows and piercing bursts of light.
Monochrome, the image becomes a territory of absorption, giving free rein to dazzling wonder and raw beauty.
